KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 14 — The Malaysian International Food & Beverage Trade Fair (MIFB 2025) concluded earlier this month at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, drawing more than 12,000 visitors and over 500 exhibitors from 50 countries.
Held from 30 July to 1 August, this year’s event carried the theme “Future-Ready F&B: Serving the Evolution of Trends” and featured the latest in food technology, sustainable solutions, and culinary innovation.

The fair introduced the Malaysia Café Expo, which hosted the Malaysia National Coffee Championship, attracting top baristas from across the country. Another major highlight was the Gastronomic Sensory Hub, organised with the Malaysia Professional Chef Association, where visitors experienced live cooking demonstrations, product tastings, and pop-up dining.

Dedicated showcases such as MyFoodTech highlighted smart packaging, processing technology, and eco-friendly materials. Industry experts also led sessions on food security, digitalisation, and evolving consumer demands.
Organisers said MIFB 2025 underscored Malaysia’s growing role as a regional hub for F&B innovation, with strong participation from both local and international players.
